ASR Control of Distributed Drive Vehicles based on CAN Bus and FlexRay Bus

In this paper, we will use the four-axis distributed drive vehicle as a platform to establish an ASR(Acceleration Slip Regulation) control system based on Matlab/Simulink. The control system includes vehicle dynamics model, motor model, driver model, etc. In addition, for the CAN bus and the FlexRay bus, we firstly study the influence of network delay of the two buses on the control system respectively, and then build the network communication model of the two buses. This article simulates under the condition of bisectional road, observes the dynamic response result of ASR control system, and obtains the influence of different buses on the performance of ASR control system. The final result shows that, compared with CAN bus, FlexRay communication behavior has better control performance and dynamic response results. Therefore, FlexRay is more suitable for application in control systems that require high real-time information transmission.
