Computation of Performance Parameters for Three-Phase SEIG Using Genetic Algorithm

In present scenario the whole world is focusing towards non-conventional energy resources for power production. Although the technologies in this area have put the milestone but still there are many challenges to provide the required power to the society. The paper as presented confined a three-phase model of SEIG which provide a multivariable function. A number of meta-heuristic have been adopted for the solution of such complex problems. In this paper genetic based optimization algorithm has been focused to find out the generated frequency, voltage unbalanced factor, magnetizing reactances of the SEIG. A 22 KW rating SEIG has been taken for the simulation.
