SICR-Based Insurance Pricing of Hepatitis B Virus in China

Studies on the hepatitis B virus have shown that male adults are more likely to be infected through sexual contact than female adults. This article establishs SICR models for under-aged children, male adults, and female adults, then performs numerical simulations on the data of Chinese hepatitis B infections from 2012 to 2017. Obtaining antibodies through vaccines and state transitions between ages are considered. Finally, based on this model, for a specific epidemic insurance payment model, the Disability Income Insurance (DII) model under the Markov chain assumption is used to price the epidemic insurance.
