Application of High-Voltage and High-Frequency AC Power in the Experimental Research of DBD Device

At present, the electrical model of dielectric barrier discharge (DBD) is mainly focused on gas-phase discharge, but less on gas-liquid two-phase dielectric barrier discharge. In this study, an optimal gas-liquid two-phase DBD device driven by an AC power system was designed and the electrical parameters of which are studied by using a high-voltage probe and high-current probe. In order to verify its practicability, Avermectins (AVMs) was selected as the target solution and the concentration change of AVMs in solution was determined by High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC)-MS / MS. By measuring the residual concentration of AVMs in the treated solution, the effect of plasma discharge voltage on the application effect was reached. The results show that the DBD-plasma is presented as micro discharge channels in the gas phase. The degradation effect of plasma on AVMs increased with the increase of discharge voltage. The reactive oxygen species in the plasma are highly oxidizing and have a broad industry application prospect.
