Development of Evaluation Module for Relay Protection Competition of Intelligent Substation (iSPEC 2020)

At present, relay protection competitions often use conventional substations for practical tests. The main test point of the smart substation relay protection competition is the error checking and comparison of SCD configuration files. This paper develops the use of virtual instrument library of smart station, secondary safety measures, SCD configuration, protection and measurement and control debugging inspection, load test, IEC 61850 network message analysis, abnormal defect processing, accident analysis and processing for the smart substation relay protection competition. And other evaluation modules, the system has functions such as random test papers, batch download of test materials, automatic scoring, score statistics, etc., which makes the evaluation of smart substation relay protection competition more objective and fair, and achieves better results in field applications.
