Low-voltage station area topology recognition method based on weighted least squares method

The topology of the low-voltage distribution network is of great significance for line loss analysis, electric larceny warning, trouble shooting, and demand response. In view of the fact that the current low-voltage distribution network topological relationship is difficult to identify and update in real time, this paper proposes a low-voltage station topology identification method based on weighted least squares method. Firstly, collecting the active current value of the low-voltage extended acquisition unit and the smart meter of the multi-period, and then establish matrix equation according to the current value, which is used to solve the topological relationship by the least square method. Then apply a larger weight to the data with shorter time to achieve the purpose of discovering the changed topological relationship earlier. This paper also proposes the topological change discovery rate index and the allowable error rate index, and analyzes the proposed model based on these indicators in the simulation of the example.
