Distributed Generation Capacity Planning Method of AC/DC Hybrid Distribution Network Based on Different Functions of Energy Storage

This paper proposes a distributed generation capacity planning method for AC/DC hybrid distribution network based on different functions of energy storage. The objective function is established for the purpose of economic optimization. According to the different application scenarios, the energy storage is divided into two functions: standby power supply and peak shaving and valley filling. Two optimization models are established from these two aspects. Considering the power quality of power grid, power supply reliability is introduced as a constraint. The complicated calculation process of power supply reliability of complex grid structure is solved by using Monte Carlo method. We use the particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm with fast optimization speed and accurate results, and the simulation example also proves this point. This paper provides a new method for distributed generation capacity planning of AC / DC hybrid distribution network.
