Practices and Suggestions on the Construction of Port Shore Power in the Context of “Protection of the Yangtze River”

The construction of shore power in the ports of the Yangtze River Basin is an important measure to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping’s concept of “protection of the Yangtze River”. State Grid Hubei Electric Power Co., Ltd. has finished five shore power pilot projects in the Three Gorges Dam area, and established the first professional shore power operation service company in China. This paper expounds the systematic practices of the construction, promotion and operation of shore power in the ports of Three Gorges Dam area of the Yangtze River Basin from two dimensions, namely, building a promotion platform for shore power construction and constructing an ecological circle for shore power operation and use, and puts forward countermeasures and suggestions for further promotion and use.
