Sequence Optimization of Auxiliary Load in Black Start of Isolated Power Grid

For the black start problem of isolated power grid, we should not only pay attention to the black start process under the condition of unexpected power outage caused by fault, but also pay attention to the start-up of auxiliary power load and subsequent turbine impulse starting at the beginning of construction of isolated power grid and power plant operation. Based on the background of the initial operation of isolated power grid, this paper studies the optimization of the start-up sequence of auxiliary engines before unit start-up. Considering the change of the number of diesel engines, the problem is considered as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem. The problem is considered as a mixed integer nonlinear programming problem. Through the MATLAB solver yalmip and gurobi optimization solver, the optimized load start-up sequence is solved offline. The model of isolated power grid is built by PSASP, and the simulation results before optimization are compared to verify the effectiveness of the planning model for the sequence optimization of auxiliary load.
