A New Transmission Pricing Method of Large Scale Wind Power to Promote Wind Consumption

The determination of transmission price and cost allocation are potential obstacles to the development of wind power. This paper analyzes the incremental cost of longdistance of wind power transmission. Considering the fixed and variable characteristics of incremental cost and the risk of cost fluctuation, a risk-based comprehensive pricing model for long-distance transmission of large-scale wind power is established. Gansu Province in China is rich in wind resources, so we take Jiuquan wind power base and 800 kV GansuZhuzhou DC transmission as examples to verify the effectiveness of the model.
