Water Column Correction Method of Naval Gun Shooting at Sea Based on Measuring Radar

In the new naval gun weapon system of large and medium caliber, measuring radar is equipped and used to predict the projectile's muzzle velocity to improve the firing accuracy. Aiming at the problem that the naval gun uses the data of measuring radar to correct water column of sea shooting, the influence of the muzzle velocity deviation on the firing deviation is analyzed, and the projectile's actual muzzle velocity is used to calculate the impact point to eliminate the influence of the muzzle velocity prediction deviation on the firing deviation, then a water column correction method of naval gun shooting at sea is designed. The simulation results show that this method can effectively improve the accuracy of sea shooting.
