A Miniaturized High Efficiency Rectifier with Wide Input Power Range for Microwave Power Transmission

For microwave power transmission technology, improving the efficiency of rectifier can always be the crux of the matter. However, the performance of conventional rectifiers are highly dependent on the input power, and the external structures added together are not convenient for integration. Therefore, in this paper, a miniaturized high efficiency rectifier with wide input power range is proposed. According to the results, over 50% of the efficiency is obtained in a wide range (24.5 dBm and 21.8 dBm for simulated and measured results respectively), where the peak efficiency are 82% and 77% respectively.
