Research on the Model and Development Status of Information Literacy Self-improvement Ability of Primary and Secondary School Teachers

The information literacy of teachers has higher requirements because of the changes brought about by new technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence. Teachers, as the main body to improve the information literacy of teachers, are directly related to the modernization of the teaching staff. Therefore, this research focuses on the subjectivity of teachers, and constructs a model for the self-improvement ability of information literacy of teachers. Then this study analyzes the status quo and differences of teachers' self-improvement ability. The results show that overall performance is good, but self-improvement learning of information literacy and self-improvement professional development of information literacy needs to be strengthened. In addition, there are significant differences in gender, school type, age, educational background, and area. According to the results, some implications were proposed to improve the self-improvement ability of the information literacy of teachers.
