Design and Analysis of C-band repeater for Small Communication Satellite

This paper presents the design of a transparent Cband repeater for small geostationary (GEO) communication satellite. The repeater configurations and key units proprieties are introduced besides the payload specifications and the frequency plan. In this work, the repeater is based on eight (08) channels configuration with redundancy in active units, the transponder gain budget is also calculated to fulfil the payload requirements.
