User Presence Recognition in Smart Home Systems

This paper describes a solution for presence recognition in smart home systems. The system recognizies the user presence by Bluetooth or BLE enabled devices that user keeps by its side most of the time. The smart home system communicates with Bluetooth presence detector over the WISE bridge device. The WISE bridge device uses IP communication protocol to present Bluetooth devices to a central controller in the smart home system.
