A New Approach for Analyzing and Predicting Carbon Dioxide Emissions: Case study of Vietnam

Vietnam has the potential to affect to air pollution such as increasing carbon-dioxide emission from the rapid extension of gross domestic products, foreign direct investment, and manufacturing sections. Thus, this work analyzes the relationships between the variables and proposed a dynamic model for predicting carbon dioxide emissions in Vietnam based on the relationships. Moreover, the work presents trend prediction of carbon dioxide emissions in Vietnam based on multiple regression model. The work shown that there is a statistically significant positive association between carbon-dioxide emission and manufacturing. However, the other economic sectors, gross domestic product, and foreign direct investment, are weaker impact on carbon-dioxide emission.
