Application of Dynamic Matrix Control in Liquid Level Control

Once the model predictive control (MPC) came out, it has been developing rapidly in various industries. As a branch of DMC, the step response prediction model is adopted. In this paper, the prediction model of controlled object is established by Siemens S7-300 controller. Using SCL language, the dynamic matrix control method is realized. The water tank is used as the first-order simulation object to realize the constant value control of liquid level. In the case of water level disturbance, good control effect is achieved.
