Research on primary frequency regulation of wind turbine based on new nonlinear droop control

In order to make the wind power station with doubly fed induction motor have the ability to participate in the primary frequency regulation of power grid, it is necessary to study the performance of primary frequency regulation of wind power generation system, adopt droop control scheme to decouple active power and reactive power, and control the dynamic response of active power output to frequency fluctuation. When the response range of the traditional droop control is large, the deviation between the output power and the reference power is too large to be adjusted. The dynamic droop coefficient is introduced as the negative feedback phase of the original droop control coefficient, so that the product of the frequency and droop control coefficient can be transformed within the controllable range, and the droop coefficient can be adjusted in real time according to the target frequency. The above control strategy is verified by Matlab / Simulink simulation that the proposed scheme can make the primary frequency control performance of wind power generation better.
