Flux weakening control of IPMSM based on EMPC and its stability analysis

This paper proposed a new control method which combines the explicit model predictive control (EMPC) with the field weakening control strategy, and the new linearization approach corresponding to the interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) mathematical model is established. In order to employ the robustness and dynamics of the system, the parameter tuning based on closed-loop pole analysis and its corresponding experimental results are given. The upon method has been verified by the simulation results.
