A Switched-Capacitor Step-Down DC-DC Converter with Specialized for Conversion Ratio around 1

This paper proposes an SC step-down DC-DC converter which improves the response and the power conversion efficiency, under the condition that the conversion ratio is closed to 1. The proposed circuit is based on a digital-selecting type SC converter. The SPICE simulations showed that the start-up response and the power conversion efficiency of the proposed converter are higher than those of the digital-selecting type SC converter when conversion ratio is 2/3 or more.
