Nonlinear Phase Shift Estimation in Coherent Optical Communication Systems with Neural Networks

A CNN based algorithm is proposed for the estimation of nonlinear phase shift. Simulations show that the mean relative errors of it can achieve 2%, and it is insensitive to the changing of baud-rate.
