Optimization of the Heat Exchange System of the Catalytic Reforming Process Based on the «Tasks of Appointments»

The article present. The issue of heat integration of material and energy flows is considered, and the ultimate goal is to reduce the consumed energy resources. For this, a mathematical model of the process is drawn up. All endothermic and exothermic reactions are taken into account. M hot streams and N cold streams are allocated. The Hungarian algorithm is used to solve the linear programming problem of assignments. Two stages can be distinguished. At the first stage, the minimum element is determined in the score matrix in each row and subtracted from the other elements of the row. Then, in the resulting matrix in each column, the minimum element is determined and subtracted from the other elements of the column. The resulting zero elements are optimal assignments. The matrix of economic assessments obtained during the calculation of heat exchange equipment is presented. Economic estimates represent the sum of the capital and operating costs of the heat exchangers. As a result, the search for the optimal structure of the heat exchange system of the absorption-gas fractionation unit was carried out. With the found structure of the heat exchange system, it was possible to use 59.4% of the recovered energy of the entire possible, which is 10% more than the initial value.
