An Intelligent Control Strategy for Large Inertia Servo System

With the increase of motor power and load inertia, the influence of flexible deformation on the overall motion and dynamic characteristics of the system cannot be ignored. Therefore, the overall structure of the control system is determined according to the control object and index requirements of the large moment of inertia. Then an intelligent PID control algorithm is proposed to improve the control accuracy of the system. First of all, the theoretical basis and implementation method of setting various parameters and boundary points in the intelligent algorithm are analyzed. The absolute value of error time integration performance index is used as the minimum objective function of parameter selection, and the parameters are adjusted by the improved genetic algorithm. Finally, the system simulation experiment is performed in the MATLAB environment. From the results, the control strategy used in the AC servo system can acquire a better dynamic and static performance of the system, thus obtaining a better control quality.
