Playability of Game Joko Run

Gameplay is important key to satisfy game player and it needs good playability of the game. Game playability refers to a game that can be easily played or not. The purpose of playability is to measure and guarantee an optimal player experience. Game playability indicators determine the quality of game playability are satisfaction, learning ability, effectiveness, immersion, motivation, emotion, and socialization. We developed a game in 3D namely Game Joko Run using unity 3D. This game is an adventure genre and single player. The Game had three stages namely Jakarta, Jogjakarta and Borobudur stages. Each stage has 5 levels with parameters such as player stamina, booster items and obstacles. We developed 21 questions from seven indicators of game playability. From the respondent assessment using descriptive statistics, it can be concluded that Game Joko Run was felt easy to learn, effectively played and gave motivation to players to play games. Minor values were felt in aspects of satisfaction, immersion and emotion of the game. Improvement should be conducted by adding social media sharing feature as beta testing evaluation result.
