Research on Electric Vehicle Charge and Discharge Dispatching Strategy Considering the Demand on Both Sides of Supply and Demand

With the increasing penetration of electric vehicles, an orderly EV charging and discharging strategy is of great significance to ensure the economic and safe operation of the power grid. To this end, this paper proposes an EV intraday dispatching strategy that takes into account the needs of users and both sides of the grid. In the first-stage user-side optimization, the user-side requirements are improved by defining the average discharge rate index and dynamic discharge loss cost; in the second-stage optimization, the optimization needs of grid-side peak and valley filling are considered. In this paper, the simulation results under different strategy dispatching, such as charge and discharge with cost orientation as the target, show that the proposed strategy can effectively reduce the user’s cost and battery loss, reduce the load peak-valley difference, smooth the load fluctuation, and achieve a win-win situation for both grid and EV users.
