Correlation analysis of deep peak shaving of power grid under renewable energy consumption

In recent years, the peak-valley difference of seasonal loads has been increasing, and the contradiction of new energy consumption is prominent, which is not conducive to the economic and stable operation of the system. In order to explore whether new energy consumption can alleviate the deep peakshaving pressure of thermal power units, this paper establishes the relationship between the unit’s deep peak-shaving operation index and the new energy consumption based on the unit’s deep peak-shaving capacity index and new energy consumptionrelated indicators. Correlation model, analysis and calculation based on the actual operation data of the power grid in a certain area shows that the amount of new energy consumption is highly correlated with each index of the unit’s in-depth peak shaving operation, and the influence degree of the two is quantified based on regression analysis.
