24GHz Microstrip Array Antennas for Automotive Anti-Collision Applications

In this paper, the design of a 24GHz microstrip phased array antenna is introduced. This antenna is designed for automotive anti-collision radar applications. It has an advantage of a much smaller and simpler structure compared with traditional low side-lobe array antennas. Details of design, simulated results of this low side-lobe array antenna are presented and discussed. The results confirm the validity of this design, which meet the requirement of automotive anti-collision applications.
