Though the printing industry is seemingly well established such that everything is understood, there will always be advancements to the technology. In some instances, those new technologies can create new issues to be addressed. In this case, multiple changes at the same time by different teams created a reliability issue in the field. Initial analysis by the customer assurance team underestimated the issue resulting in the research and development (R&D) team being called.
