Optimal Placement of Sensors Based on Clustering-Effective Independent Method

The effective independent method is the most widely used method in optimization algorithm. It can reflect the structural characteristics and obtain the modal information, but it cannot effectively obtain the damage information, and it also has the problems of low response and concentration of measuring points. In this paper, the clustering algorithm and strain mode are introduced to modify it, and the information matrix containing both structural damage information and modal information is established by using the vibration displacement response and strain response equation of the system. This method is applied to the Dashengguan Yangtze River Bridge in Nanjing, and a comprehensive evaluation system is established to evaluate the effectiveness of the optimization method. The results show that this method has good effect on the independence of modal information, response of measuring point and damage sensitivity of measuring point.
