Design of a Test Station for Magnetoelectric Sensor Development

In order to develop a magnetoelectric sensor to measure weak magnetic fields an adjustable magnetic test field (MTF) is needed. This paper deals with the design of a test station that provides such a field. To create the field a Helmholtz coil, a magnetic circuit with soft iron as well as a set of permanent magnets are considered.
