An Analysis Model and Test Monitoring Device for IGBT Intermittent Fault

In order to clear the obstacles of detecting intermittent faults and distinguishing between permanent faults, a Petri net model of normal, intermittent and failure modes is established. On the basis of this model, a test monitoring device for IGBT intermittent fault is designed. With the function of recording intermittent fault data and comparing fault signals with LabVIEW data processing module, the device can also conduct intermittent fault tests of IGBT. Finally, the test results show that the device facilitates the monitoring of IGBT intermittent faults, and is capable of predicting the permanent faults.
