Design and Implementation of SVM for Three Phase Inverter Fed an Induction Motor for Photovoltaic Stand-alone Pumping System

This paper presents the design and implementation of three-phase inverter fed an induction motor for stand-alone photovoltaic pumping system. The objective of presented work is to design and implement of three-phase SVM inverter intended for an induction motor photovoltaic pumping system. In order to improve the performance of studied system, the maximization of the generator power is ensured through a variable frequency inverter drive using V/f technique and without DC/DC converter integration. This V/f technique simplified the implementation of the SVM technique and allow the inerter board to drive system with simple structure, easy control, small size, high effiency and lower cost. The results obtained in simulations and experimental testes of the developed SVM inverter prototype are also discussed.
