Development and Analysis of Power Quality by using Fuel cell based Shunt Active Power Filter

The paper presents about the development and control of fuel cell based shunt active power filter. To compensate the shunt active power filter utilized the 3 phase harmonics filter. The SRF based control technique has been applied for the production of reference current for this system. The controller generates suitable switching pulse for the shunt active power filter. Result analysis is implemented by using Simulink environment and results are analyzed. The utilization of fuel cell is for the support of dc link of the shunt active power filter. The integration of the fuel cell has stabilized the dc voltage of the system, which will help to improve the quality of power.
