Design and Performance Analysis of Isolated Cuk Converter Employed in Multiple Pulse Rectifier Systems

This work presents a 12-pulse rectifier in order to reduce the harmonic distortion of line currents. The topology is based on a Delta autotransformer connection and isolated Cuk converters operating in continuous conduction mode. This structure provides higher power factor and a regulated cc output. Simulation and experimental results are presented in order to verify the reduction of the harmonic content, improving the quality of the energy.
