Evaluation of VRMS Homogeneity of the Magnetic Field in MRI with Numerical Methods

A numerical method based on tetrahedron mesh discretization to compute the VRMS homogeneity of the magnetic field in magnetic resonance imaging is proposed, which is more powerful when the region is not spherical. In the final of the paper, the VRMS homogeneity of a super-conducting magnet coil is computed with the numerical method.
