Voltage Controller with MPPT Algorithms Applied for Single-Stage Grid-Connected PV systems

This paper proposes a classical control method for DC-link voltage in three-phase voltage-source inverters. Generation of electricity from photovoltaic has obtained worldwide acceptance due to its eco-friendly nature and abundant availability. This accessibility is endangered to variation due to many factors such as in shadow, irradiation and temperature, etc. The proposed voltage controller realizes the use of a fuzzy logic controller in a classical method. It combines the advantages of the classical controller and the properties of intelligent controllers. DC-link voltage control is precarious for grid-connected inverters, as it contributes to decrease the DC capacitance and improve system reliability as well as MPPT performance. The system configuration and its performance is simulated by using Matlab/Simulink software package. An experimental setup has been built and controlled by a dSPACE MicroLabBox to implement the proposed voltage controller.
