The authors of this article developed the configuration of a fiber optical diffuser within the core. When this radiation diffuser is stretched, the back reflections change, and it was detected by the photodetector. This article dwscribes this experiment. Thus, a tension sensor was developed, which can be used in winches, crane systems, mechanical engineering, in laboratories and stage equipment. According to the results of processing the experiment, the tensile sensitivity was 2 picometers per 1 microstrain.
