The Results of AFM Researches of Nanoparticles Applied on a Substrate Surface Using a Powerful Pulsed Discharge

The effective use of a technological device for spraying ultrafine particles to medical devices is possible when the spatial distribution of particles in a certain technological mode is known. Metal nanoparticles were applied on the substrate surfaces of different materials. The results of AFM studies of the surfaces are presented in the paper. It is shown that dispersed particles smaller than 1 μm are in the droplet phase up to a distance of 7 cm from the surface of the dispersed electrodes. The results of mathematical processing of the scan results are presented. The results make it possible to determine the volume of particles applied on the surface and their size distribution.
