Virtual Integrated Simulation Development Platform for Complex Systems Based on Multi-Simulation Tools

Virtual simulation for complex systems during early period of development is important to test and verify the requirements and design. Yet most of systems are lack of simulation during the period of requirement analysis and system design. Besides, complex systems may involve multidisciplinary which use different simulation tools makes it tough to do the integrated simulation as the models from different tools can't interconnect directly. This paper designs a virtual integrated development platform to simulate complex systems by interconnecting various types of models based on Functional Mock-up Interface (FMI) so that the software model could be simulated synthetically. Result shows that the platform can simulate the complete system comprehensively and verify the design of system efficiently.
