Automated Prototype of Photonics-based RF Receiver with Extended Bandwidth and Increased Tuning Speed

We present an automated and user-friendly RF down-converting receiver prototype based on photonics that extends the analysis of the detected RF spectrum up to 40.5 GHz in 1 GHz-wide channels with reduced channel tuning time <; 10 μs.
