About the Image Feature of Parabolic Antennas in High-resolution SAR Image

The parabolic antenna has the potential to assist for SAR instrument calibration and SAR image performance assessment, understanding the high-resolution SAR image of the parabolic antenna is helpful for the detection and classification of this type of target. In this paper, high-resolution SAR image simulation technique based on shooting and bouncing rays (SBR) is carried out to simulate multiview SAR image of a typical parabolic antenna with the resolution of 0.1 m*0.1 m, azimuth angles range from 1° to 360°, and three fixed elevation angles of 45°, 60° and 70°. The image features including the contour, shadow and multiple-bounce effects, are described with sufficient simulations.
