A Method of Voltage Sag Source Location Considering Source Load Characteristics

Based on the multi-point method, the dynamic characteristics of the source load is considered in this paper, and a voltage sag source positioning method considering the source-load characteristics is proposed. First, the Thevenin equivalent model is established at the monitoring point, and the system parameters are identified by the multi-point method. Then, using the sensitivity method, the weights of the upstream and downstream of the system fault are respectively defined. The results of the voltage sag source are quantitatively analyzed in the distribution network. Finally, the effectiveness of the method is verified by a simulation example.
