The IR Drop Effect of 2T1C and 3T1C Driving Modes in Top Emission AMOLED

In order to select the driving mode of 3T1C pixel circuits in Top Emission AMOLED, we carried out simulation analysis on the panel uniformity of different IR drops driven by 2T1C and 3T1C, respectively. The simulation results show that under the 2T1C driver circuit, the VSS IR drop will seriously affect the uniformity of the panel. In the case of 3T1C, the effect of the VSS IR drop becomes small. This is mainly due to the fact that the source of T1 is held at the data writing stage in 3T1C mode.
