Parameter optimization of Pressurizer Level Control System in Nuclear Power Plant using Relay Feedback Method

Focusing on pressurizer level control system of nuclear power plant, the paper introduces and analyzes the cascade control structure, also using the recursive least squares method to identify the mathematical model of the control system Then, theory of parameter tuning in complex control system is described, and PID parameter tuning is achieved based on relay-feedback (RF) method. Finally, by the way of experiments before and after parameter optimization on simulator of the nuclear power plant, the results are compared and effect of parameter optimization is validated.
