Automatic observation system of Polar Multi-parameter buoy based on Iridium remote Control

With the gradual rise of global sea level in recent years, the north and south poles, as the largest freshwater reserves, have been concerned by more and more scholars in various research fields. Among them, the melting of sea ice in the Arctic and subarctic regions is the most obvious annual cycle change in the world. In order to monitor the sea water quality, the melting state of sea ice and the drift track of sea ice, a comprehensive marine monitoring equipment for multi-layer sampling and observation of sea water is designed in this paper. The upper computer display software is compiled by VS to measure chlorophyll, dissolved oxygen and temperature and salinity of fixed horizon depth for a long time. At the same time, the ice thickness and atmospheric observation parameters in the ice area where the body is located are measured. During the whole working cycle, the trajectory of sea ice in which it is located is observed. The polar environment is bad, and in order to ensure that the system works for an ice age, it is designed to transmit the child mother system. A week-long ice lake test was carried out on the system in January 2018. The interval between collection and transmission is 60 minutes. Combined with the daily sensor aging experiment and the ice lake test data, it is shown that the system can be used in the polar region with very low temperature and work for a long time.
