A DTMF based Railway Enquiry System

In this work we implement the ticket booking in Railway Enquiry System with internet connection or through Bluetooth using Ekiga in the Asterisk Gateway Interface (AGI). The customers who want to book ticket can book the ticket via internet or through the cell phones. But due to problems that arises while we book our ticket through cell phones or any other devices is that disturbance in our cell network connection or busy queuing in our network lines due to excess amount of customers in network lines, for which we have to wait and call several times. The online ticket booking system will primarily focus on the name of passenger, train, name of class for booking ticket, name of source station, destination station, and the date of reservation. However, it is the very initial towards achieving long term goal of delivering broader services to support the ticket booking system. This will provide service to the customers to book their ticket through a simple Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP).
