Nano-Second Spectrometry by the Use of a Spinning Polygon Mirror

Time-resolved spectrometry was conducted by the use of a continuous-wave laser diode and an ordinary CCD-based spectrometer. These slow devices realized a temporal resolution of ~100 ns by achieving time-space conversion with a spinning polygon mirror. Decay processes of fluorescent materials were measured successfully by using this spectrometer.
