A Complete Analytical Method for Fault Diagnosis of Power Grid Considering Operation Information of Backup automatic switch

The main function of grid fault diagnosis is to realize fast faulty equipment judgment, fault-related protection, circuit breaker action behavior analysis and fault event recurrence after grid fault. The grid fault alarm information includes not only the action information of the protection and the circuit breaker, but also the action information of the backup automatic device such as the backup automatic switch. If the fault diagnosis is based solely on the protection and the action information of the circuit breaker, there is a certain difficulty in the complete restoration failure process. Based on the complete analytical model, this paper studies the method of grid fault diagnosis, constructs the logic expression including the backup automatic switch, and constructs the objective function including relay protection, circuit breaker and backup automatic switch coupling relationship, which can fully express the grid fault diagnosis process and accurately diagnose the fault in the fault that contains the backup automatic switch action information.
