Day-ahead Optimal Scheduling for Sensitive Loads and Demand Response Resources in Power System

Sensitive loads play an important role in society and economy. In this paper, aiming to accurately describe the loading status of sensitive loads and reduce power system scheduling cost, we establishes a day-ahead optimal scheduling model to solve this problem. First, the equivalent model is established according to the operation characteristics of sensitive loads, and the load sensitivity index is proposed. Second, according to the demand response resource's scheduling cost and response time, demand response resource's model is established and set up the customer satisfaction index. Finally, a day-ahead optimal scheduling model is established. IEEE 39-bus test system is used to verify the rationality and accuracy of the scheduling model. The results show that the model of sensitive loads and demand response resources can reduce the load loss of sensitive load and the operation cost of power system.
