A Literature Survey on Electricity Price Forecasting in Deregulated Markets

Accurate price forecasting is helpful for market participants to formulate reasonable market behaviors, and is also an important reference index for market operation and regulators. Many scholars have carried out researches on price forecasting models and applied them to different electricity markets, thus achieved many achievements. On the basis of summarizing the application characteristics of various price forecasting models, the author further discusses the existing deficiencies in current researches and the field that can be explored in the future, so as to provide a certain reference for the subsequent price forecasting researches.
